Remove URL Referrer Service

If a user clicks on the link of another site administrators can see in Analytics statistics the source of the user’s visit or the domain/referrer. There may be cases when you don’t want to let the other site to know where traffic comes from.

Why hide a referrer’s website

We won’t go into details on the reasons we chose to hide the site of the referrer. We developed this feature to shield our affiliate-generating pages from competition as well as our partners. It can take a while to find niches that can produce leads in affiliate marketing. This information needs to be protected in order to stop other affiliates from copying the information too quickly and threatening you. So, eliminating the referrer website was one of the methods used.

The below service is quick and easy to use!

How to Use

Utilizing the hide referrer is as simple as following the below steps:

  1. copy the following link: “http://iwebz365.asia/hide/?http://www.mywebsite.com
  2. edit the “http://www.mywebsite.com” part with the link towards the website you are linking to and you do not want to be shown as referrer (it can be either a domain home page or a deep link / affiliate link; make sure to include the http or https as well)
  3. Paste the link into your blog or other websites. Every time someone clicks on the link, they will be directed directly to the desired link without having to transfer referring website information.
